Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Prep vs. Windermere Prep

The Trinity Prep Saints will take on the Windermere Prep Lakers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Prep will be strutting in after a win while Windermere Prep will be coming in after a defeat.

Windermere Prep better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Trinity Prep really get things going. Trinity Prep never let University onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Cougars are ranked 483rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trinity Prep hit University with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kylin Phillips (2), Finley Gattis, and Liann Kurlansik.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Windermere Prep was not quite Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's equal in the second half back in December of 2024. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Windermere Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-3. As for Trinity Prep, the win got them back to even at 4-4-2.

Trinity Prep might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Windermere Prep in their previous matchup back in January of 2024.
