Baseball Recap: Bells Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Bells's offense. They fell 3-0 to North Lamar on Friday. The loss was Bells' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bells fell to 5-1. As for North Lamar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Bells has already played their next matchup, a 5-2 win against Prairiland on the 1st. As for North Lamar, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sulphur Springs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so North Lamar's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
