Soccer Recap: Heritage Hills Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Heritage Hills has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 3-0 to the Evansville Harrison Warriors on Tuesday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Heritage Hills couldn't quite close it out.

Heritage Hills was without their leading scorer, Fabian Garcia, in Tuesday's contest. With Garcia sidelined, Berke Eisenhauer got his first action of the season.

Heritage Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Evansville Harrison, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Heritage Hills and Evansville Harrison should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Patriots will face off against Pike Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (94 vs. 224). Meanwhile, Evansville Harrison (ranked 77th) will meet Mt. Vernon (ranked 273rd) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
