Baseball Recap: St. Ignatius College Preparatory Comes Up Short

St. Ignatius College Preparatory suffered their closest defeat since April 16, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Bellarmine College Prep Bells by a score of 2-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bells apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Archer Horn, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5-2. As for Bellarmine College Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Looking ahead, St. Ignatius College Preparatory will face off against San Marin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Bellarmine College Prep, they will square off against Carlmont at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bells are facing the Scots at the right time seeing as the Scots are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
