Noah Getz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Linfield Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyce Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Johnson a new career-high.
Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Rancho Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past Hillcrest 3-2.

Rancho Christian pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Linfield Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-5-1.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Linfield Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .329. However, it's not like Rancho Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .324. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
