Softball Game Preview: South Glens Falls Bulldogs vs. Queensbury Spartans

The South Glens Falls Bulldogs will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Queensbury Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

South Glens Falls is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell just short of Hudson Falls by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Kylee Craft was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Georgia Gonzalez, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Queensbury came up short against Shenendehowa on Wednesday, falling 15-1.

South Glens Falls took their victory against Queensbury in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 14-1 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
