Soccer Recap: Cuyahoga Heights Takes a Loss

After flying high against LaBrae last Saturday, Cuyahoga Heights came back down to earth. The Red Wolves came up short against the Champion Golden Flashes on Thursday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Cuyahoga Heights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 404th, while Champion are ranked 139th).

Cuyahoga Heights has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11-1 record this season. As for Champion, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-0-1.

Cuyahoga Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Champion, they have already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Northwestern on the 25th.
