Football Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View lost against Capuchino back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Ishan Devarapalli, who threw for 217 yards and four touchdowns.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Capuchino, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mountain View will venture away from home to challenge King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 7.1 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Capuchino, they will head out to square off against Burlingame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
