Baseball Game Preview: Notre Dame Prep Saints vs. Arizona College Prep Knights

For the second straight game, Notre Dame Prep will face off against Arizona College Prep. The Saints will host the Knights at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Notre Dame Prep came out on top against Arizona College Prep on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Saints skirted past the Knights 7-5. That's two games straight that the Saints have won by exactly two runs.

Sam Jenkins looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Notre Dame Prep is 6-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-12 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aidan Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Owen Boeding was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
