Softball Recap: Daniel Boone Comes Up Short

Daniel Boone's last matchup with West Ridge could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Trailblazers lost 8-1 to the Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 last Tuesday.

Daniel Boone saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aggie Greer, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Daniel Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for West Ridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Coincidentally, Daniel Boone and West Ridge will both be playing David Crockett the next time they take the field. The Wolves will host the Pioneers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trailblazers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
