Basketball Game Preview: Bolles Bulldogs vs. Riverside Generals

The Bolles Bulldogs and the Riverside Generals will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Bolles came up short against Creekside and fell 60-49. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Riverside had to suffer through a 74-47 loss at the hands of Fleming Island. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 92nd).

Bolles' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Things could have been worse for Bolles, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-51 loss to Riverside in their previous meeting back in December of 2020. Can Bolles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
