Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Haven). They came out on top against the Flinthills Mustangs by a score of 70-59 on Monday. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

The victory got South Haven back to even at 5-5. As for Flinthills, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

South Haven will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Flinthills will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Flinthills knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge.
