Blair lost against Harlan back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blair Bears took a 63-48 bruising from the Harlan Cyclones. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Blair's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Wulf, who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave Wulf a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addie Sullivan, who put up 13 points.

Blair's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Harlan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blair will head out to challenge Lincoln Northwest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harlan, they and Underwood will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
