Baseball Recap: Cameron Dragons vs. Mid-Buchanan Dragons
Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell victim to a tough 12-2 defeat at the hands of the Mid-Buchanan Dragons. That's two games in a row now that Cameron has lost by exactly ten runs.
Alec Leazenby was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with a home run and two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Hunter LeRette, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases.
Cameron's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Mid-Buchanan, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cameron will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Chillicothe at 4:30 p.m. As for Mid-Buchanan, they will challenge Lathrop at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
