Basketball Recap: Coral Gables Comes Up Short

Coral Gables lost against True North Classical Academy back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coral Gables Cavaliers fell just short of the True North Classical Academy Titans by a score of 56-54. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

True North Classical Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Boosie Swan, who posted 11 points along with six boards and three steals. Ryan Rodriguez was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Coral Gables' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for True North Classical Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9.

Coral Gables and Westminster Christian will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for True North Classical Academy, they and IMG Academy Black will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
