Baseball Game Preview: Stratton Eagles vs. Eads Eagles

Stratton will square off against Eads at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stratton will be strutting in after a victory while Eads will be coming in after a defeat.

Eight must be Stratton's lucky number: they beat Cheyenne Wells with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Eagles beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-6. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Harrison hit Eads with a six-run fifth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles fell 8-3 to the Panthers. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Eads saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnathan Vasquez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Savanna Brown also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Eads fell to 8-1. As for Stratton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
