Volleyball Recap: Winner's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winner waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Gregory Gorillas as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-21, 25-13.

Livvy Audiss paced Winner's offense, picking up 14 kills. Audiss got some help from Gracie Root and her 23 assists. Root was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Winner's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Gregory, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Winner and Chamberlain will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gregory, they will face off against Platte/Geddes at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
