Mill Valley came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lawrence Lions. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

While Mill Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 26-24.

Mill Valley's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Lawrence, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mill Valley will welcome Blue Valley West at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lawrence, they will be playing at home against Olathe Northwest at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
