Soccer Recap: Cape Henlopen Starts Season with Victory Against Brandywine

Cape Henlopen had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Brandywine Bulldogs on Tuesday. With Cape Henlopen ahead 5-1 at the half, the match was all but over already.

They hit Brandywine with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jaidyn Jones (2), Lillian Holodick, Ellie Sprague, and Lindsay Hassell.

Looking ahead, Cape Henlopen will head out on the road to face off against Woodbridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brandywine, they will host Caesar Rodney at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
