Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Christian Find Success + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Providence Day, Charlotte Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Carmel Christian Cougars 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Charlotte Christian who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 26-28, 25-18, 23-25, 15-11.

Charlotte Christian had a senior duo take command as Bella Eudy had 12 digs and four aces and Holden Gore had 29 digs and six assists. Eudy also set a new season-high mark in assists with 26. Another player making a difference was Karis Blackson, who had ten digs.

Charlotte Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. They served two more aces than Carmel Christian's also-impressive total of 13.

Charlotte Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Carmel Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
