Erie had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They really took it to the Brighton Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-0 win on the road. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on 14 straight dating back to last season.

Gavin Lusk was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Lusk wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Erie was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 159 rushing yards in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.
