Rural Vista [Hope/White City] suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Heat vs. Herington Railroaders
The Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Heat's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Herington 42-37. Rural Vista [Hope/White City] was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Herington apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Leslyn Kremeier was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points for Herington. That makes it six consecutive games in which Kremeier has scored at least 25% of Herington's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Harrison, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Rural Vista [Hope/White City] bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Herington, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Rural Vista [Hope/White City] will head out on the road to face off against Centre at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centre is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Herington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wakefield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Wakefield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 back in December of 2023.
