After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mena, Fountain Lake was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Arkadelphia Badgers out 6-4. For Fountain Lake, this counts as revenge for the 10-7 defeat Arkadelphia walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.
Eden East was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. East was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times she's played.
