Baseball Recap: Frontier Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Frontier hadn't beaten Carroll on the road since April 6, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 11-2 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by nine runs or more this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Frontier, bringing their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Carroll, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Frontier has already played their next contest, a 12-4 loss against Rossville on the 26th. As for Carroll, they will venture away from home to square off against Taylor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
