It's playoff time, and Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Southeastern HomeSchool Cardinals on Friday. The result was nothing new for Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Southeastern HomeSchool from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Caleb Kendall led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win (which was Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association's fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-2-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Southeastern HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11-1.

Looking ahead, Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association will take on Asheville T at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeastern HomeSchool, they will face off against New Life Camp at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
