Volleyball Recap: Deerfield Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but Deerfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Palatine Pirates by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Deerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Palatine, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-16.

Deerfield will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Loyola Academy at 1:00 p.m. As for Palatine, they will take on St. Charles North at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
