Lancaster dropped their record down to 25-3 on Saturday, which also ended the team's 17-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Lebanon Warriors by a score of 2-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Golden Gales haven't been shut out since back in April.

As for Lebanon, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games.

For Lebanon's part, not much got past Sophia Sheidler, who gave up just eight hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Lancaster off the board. Sheidler has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 21 consecutive appearances.

Lancaster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lebanon, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Centerville on the 8th.
