Basketball Recap: Brandon/Evansville Comes Up Short

Brandon/Evansville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Parkers Prairie Panthers at home by a 73-58 margin on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 49-45 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Brandon/Evansville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Parkers Prairie, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Brandon/Evansville and West Central Area will face off at 1:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Parkers Prairie, they will be playing at home against Benson at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
