Basketball Game Preview: Trinity at Meadow View Tempest vs. Seton Conquistadors

Trinity at Meadow View hasn't had much luck against Seton recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tempest will head out to challenge the Conquistadors at 5:30 p.m.

On Friday, Trinity at Meadow View came up short against Chelsea Academy and fell 49-40. While losing is never fun, the Tempest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Knights are ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, Seton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They claimed a resounding 73-24 win over Christ Chapel Academy. The Conquistadors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Trinity at Meadow View's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Seton, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

Trinity at Meadow View was dealt a bruising 61-12 defeat at the hands of Seton in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tempest were down 40-4.
