Volleyball Game Preview: Overland Trailblazers vs. Forge Christian Fury

The Overland Trailblazers will take on the Forge Christian Fury in a tournament on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Overland has seven straight wins, Forge Christian has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Overland had won three straight road games and Trevor O'Shea did his part to make it four on Tuesday. Overland blew past Gateway 3-0 for which the team can thank O'Shea, who had 14 digs and three aces. What's more, he posted four assists, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

While Overland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Forge Christian lost 3-0 to Stargate School on Thursday.

While Forge Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-23.

Forge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Overland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
