Football Recap: Graham Finds Home Field Redemption Against Lake Worth

There's no place like home for Graham, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 35-10 margin over the Lake Worth Bullfrogs on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Steers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jace Gill produced another solid effort rushing for 70 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 130 yards on 11 of 21 attempts.

Gill was just one part of a punishing run game: Graham was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 401 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Graham now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lake Worth, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Graham and Lake Worth will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Steers see the field they'll take on Burkburnett at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Lake Worth, their break will end when they face Life Waxahachie at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th.
