Softball Game Preview: Carlson Marauders vs. Huron Chiefs

The Carlson Marauders will face off against the Huron Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carlson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

On Thursday, Carlson beat Taylor 10-6.

Isabelle Salas was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs. Another player making a difference was Ava Vasas, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Meanwhile, Huron won against Grosse Ile on Wednesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Chiefs didn't even let Jefferson on the board, marking the Chiefs' second-straight 12-0 shutout. The Chiefs have beaten the Bears the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bears has come to flipping the script.

Carlson's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Huron, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
