Softball Recap: Wyomissing's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Wyomissing came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-6 to the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes. The loss put an end to the Spartans' undefeated start to the season.

Wyomissing saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Watts, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Another was Caris Way, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wyomissing fell to 2-1. As for Schuylkill Haven, their record now sits at 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wyomissing will challenge Brandywine Heights Area at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Schuylkill Haven, they will square off against Nativity BVM at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Schuylkill Haven's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
