Softball Recap: Austin Gets the Win

Austin's tournament run continued when they took on MacArthur on Saturday. The Austin Maroons came out on top against the MacArthur Brahmas by a score of 7-3.

Austin now has a winning record of 4-3. As for MacArthur, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season.

Austin will venture away from home to face off against Dripping Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dripping Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season. As for MacArthur, they have already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Hays on the 1st.
