Volleyball Recap: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Takes a Loss

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn managed to slip by Trinity Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hawks came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Hawks' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row dating back to last season.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Trinity Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn will face off against rival George-Little Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Trinity Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Akron-Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
