Softball Recap: Scituate Spartans vs. Narragansett Mariners

With a playoff game on the line, Scituate rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Narragansett Mariners. That's more bragging rights for Scituate, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kate Nickerson made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.
