Baseball Recap: Globe Comes Up Short

Globe came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Valley Christian Trojans, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

Globe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaeger Franco, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Sir Sneezy also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Globe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Valley Christian, their victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Coming up, Globe will face off against Coolidge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Christian, they will challenge Yuma Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
