Basketball Recap: Nauset Regional Comes Up Short

Nauset Regional suffered their biggest loss since February 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 61-40 to the Barnstable Red Hawks. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Nauset Regional now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Barnstable, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nauset Regional will face off against Cape Cod Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cape Cod Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season. Barnstable has already played their next contest (against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
