After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Watsonville, Pajaro Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Seaside Spartans 14-3. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Grizzlies considering their two-run performance the game before.

Roy Sanchez made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, earning two RBI, one run, and one stolen base. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brandon Perez-Moreno, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Dorian Reyna was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Pajaro Valley's record is now 2-13. As for Seaside, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Pajaro Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
