Football Recap: New Brockton Gamecocks vs. Straughn Tigers
There's no place like home for New Brockton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Straughn Tigers 13-10. For the Gamecocks, this counts as revenge for the 36-33 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
Anthony Silar produced another solid performance rushing for 112 yards and one touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards.
