Basketball Recap: Paramus Takes a Loss

Paramus played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 60-22 loss at the hands of the NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Golden Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

Despite the loss, Paramus still got an impressive performance from Eve Schmucker, who posted two points. Schmucker is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Paramus fell to 4-1.

Paramus and Weehawken will compete for holiday cheer at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for NV - Old Tappan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-44 loss against West Orange on the 21st.
