Baseball Game Preview: Holy Trinity Titans vs. St. Anthony's Friars

For the second straight game, Holy Trinity will face off against St. Anthony. The Titans will host the Friars at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Holy Trinity has five straight wins, St. Anthony's has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Holy Trinity came out on top against St. Anthony's on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Titans walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Friars.

Nick Coupet tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, SJ Garneau was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Pat Anello, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double.

St. Anthony's now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Holy Trinity, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-1.
