Soccer Game Preview: Chanute vs. Baldwin

The Chanute Blue Comets will face off against the Baldwin Bulldogs on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Chanute and four for Baldwin.

Chanute fell victim to Louisburg and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Chanute can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Louisburg are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Baldwin came up short against Heritage Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that Baldwin have lost by exactly three goals.

Baldwin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Chanute, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1.
