Football Recap: Ridge Comes Up Short

The Ridge Red Devil came up short against the Plainfield Cardinals on Wednesday and fell 25-13.

Ridge now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Plainfield, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Ridge will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Manville at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Plainfield, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Union at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Farmers' defense has only allowed 4.7 points per game this season, so the Cardinals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
