Xavier Prep won the last time they faced Shadow Hills and Arianna Padilla did her part to make sure it happened again. The Saints blew past the Knights 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Padilla, who had 14 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-12, 25-18.

Xavier Prep's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Aubree Burrell, who had six digs and two aces, and Annabel Frederick, who had three digs and two aces. What's more, Frederick also posted a 50% hitting percentage, which is the highest she's achieved over her last six matchups.
Meanwhile, Palm Springs hadn't done well against La Quinta recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Indians walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Blackhawks.
Palm Springs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-11.
Xavier Prep's win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Palm Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
