Recap: Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes vs. Providence Athletic Cluv Panthers
The Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes fell victim to the Providence Athletic Cluv Panthers''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Panthers 54-0. Coastal HomeSchool has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Providence Athletic Cluv to victory were Gage Taylor and Liam Shuping. Taylor gained 104 total yards and a touchdown, while Shuping threw for 136 yards and three touchdowns. Evan Watt got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Providence Athletic Cluv's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Asher Lowe and his three sacks.
Coastal HomeSchool now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Providence Athletic Cluv, the win was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coastal HomeSchool will face off against Augusta Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence Athletic Cluv, they will head out on the road to face off against Non JV Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on October 28th.
