Macomb is a perfect 3-0 against Peoria Heights since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bombers will host the Patriots at 10:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Macomb came up short against Galesburg and fell 10-5. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Macomb saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Langdon Lambert, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Peoria Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Knoxville.

Macomb's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Peoria Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Macomb took their win against Peoria Heights in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Bombers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
