Softball Preview: Castlewood Warriors vs. Madison Bulldogs
Castlewood has enjoyed the comforts of home their last eight games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Madison Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Castlewood's favor is that they have posted big run totals in their last three matchups.
Castlewood can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. Everything went their way against Florence/Henry as Castlewood made off with an 11-1 victory.
Claire Horn made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Horn has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks every time she's pitched this season. Horn was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
