Lakeside and Roosevelt are an even 4-4-2 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Roughriders at 5:20 p.m. on Monday. Lakeside will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lakeside and Garfield meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for Lakeside, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt kept a clean sheet against O'Dea on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Fighting Irish. The game was the first time Roosevelt have beaten O'Dea on their pitch since May 1, 2023.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-4. As for Lakeside, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-1.
