Softball Recap: Inman Wins Going Away Against Little River

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Inman). They blew past the Little River Redskins 16-1 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Inman Teutons in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ellie Thimmesch, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marlee Ballard, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Inman's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Little River, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
